Golden rewards

Golden Child

A Golden Child is nominated by a member of staff and could be for a variety of reasons. They could be behaving well during lessons, completed an excellent piece of work, assisted that staff member with a task, maybe helped a visitor to find their way around the school or demonstrated impeccable manners – the list is endless.

Once names/reasons are provided to the Head teacher, the child is invited to choose a book from the box chest in the Head teachers office. The Head teacher then writes a message inside of the book congratulating that child and then presents them with the book to read and keep as a memento of their behaviour/work etc.

Golden Tea Party

The Golden Tea Party takes place at the end of each week and is hosted by the Head teacher. The children who receive an invitation to the tea party are nominated by their class teacher usually for completing an exceptional piece of work or impeccable behaviour.

At the tea party the children receive a small bar of chocolate, some crisps and some fruit juice and participate in fun activities.

Golden Time

We like to reward good behaviour and hard work and do so by providing children with Golden Time. This is time the class will spend, usually at the end of the day, taking part in a creative activity. Each class is allocated a Golden Time box full of full things the children can take part in.
